Our Journey

Our Journey

AL-Firdous is a UK based, non-profit making organisation.

Established in Leicester in 2011, AL-Firdous started as a group of friends trying to make a change in people’s lives. As volunteers they saw poverty and vulnerability was rampant around the world and they became disillusioned by this, so they started collecting donations to assist those in need.

From the inception of AL-Firdous in 2011, until the present day, AL-Firdous gives 100% of the donations to noble causes, with zero percentage taken out for other costs.

At AL-Firdous we believe the core to our success has been operating on this platform.

Values

We believe in building the physical, mental and spiritual well-being of people and communities.

These traits assist in self-development, this creates an awareness, which harbours an inclination towards, egalitarianism, forging ties with individuals, people, communities and nations, encompassing a spectrum of class, creed, colours, race, religion, thus empowering people to have the ability to make decisions and set their own path in life.

Vision

To assist, sustain and grow, that is what we at AL-Firdous strive forward to do. We are a charity which draws its inspiration from the generous values of Islam, which purports that an
individual is not complete, if they do not serve humanity.
Where there is a need, that’s where you will find AL-Firdous.

We approach every situation individually, knowing that each situation has its own unique set of circumstances. We tailor responses and find sustainable solutions that empower those individual circumstances.

AL-Firdous provides an unequivocal, transparent approach to all the services it deploys, ensuring that all causes addressed by AL-Firdous receive the maximum potential of your donation.
